Perks of being a member of H2U....

Now that we are members of H2U there are a lot of activities that we can participate in and 
have a good time, meet other members of H2U and create good will with their members while 
advertising our club. Read your H2U bulletin for all the activities, some of which are 
held at the Cortez center and some at the Bayshore center.

Here is some of the info on the Christmas Events.

The potluck Tree Trimming Social is Fri November 23rd at 11:00AM. Bring a dish to share and 
an ornament to display. This is held at the Cortez center while they decorate the Cortez 
center. (You decorate the tree and the hall after you eat)

The Holiday Celebration (Christmas Party) This is a great party!
A wonderful and entertaining Holiday Celebration. music, food desserts and beverages will 
be provided. Hugs, and gifts to be shared. Tickets are $5.00 each and must be purchased 
at the Cortez Center during December 3rd - 7th. Limit of 150 tickets only.
Held at Cortez Center 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM Friday December 14th.

I hear they are going to be open at Cortez on New Years Day and have a TEA.
I don't know any details. Check the bulletin board.

There are always lots of good speakers during the month too.

Several trips are available. November 20th they are going to the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa.
It is a FREE Day Trip. Cost $25.00. But you receive $20.00 in gaming vouchers plus a $5.00 
Lunch Voucher. Now you can't beat that deal!!

There is a Beach Picnic, Dinner out and Saturday luncheon once a month which is nice for 
singles or couples. All you have to do is sign up.

Free Blood Pressure Screening the first Monday of the month at Cortez and the first Wednesday
at Bayshore are more advantages of H2U memberships.

Play/Lessons: Mah-Jongg, Scrapbooking, yoga, Braided Rag Rugs, play all kinds of cards, 
bingo and then you can always volunteer to help out at the front desk or with the office work.
Lots of things to do at H2U. Come join in the fun. Meet lots of new people and spread the 
word about MPCUG. What a golden opportunity we have.

If you have not attended the new member orientation I highly recommend it. It is well worth 
your time, Cortez is held the second Wednesday of each month and Bayshore is held second 
Thursday, None are held in December due to the holidays.
